The
two spiral turrets to the left, the Minimes
tower and the
Hurtault tower, were important
architectural innovations.
On the right, The
decoration, on the right, was
originally of French
inspiration.

It latter benefited from the
collaboration of the Flemish and Italian artists
following the return of the Italian expedition of 1495. The
furnishings were luxurious Flemish and French tapestries,
Damask curtains and Turkish carpets. |

stone were brought in to complete the buildings.
