Bonnat was established in 1884 in Voiron, France.  Bonnat is one of the few top chocolatiers in the world today who creates its chocolate from the cocoa bean itself.  A traditional and rare skill in the roasting of high quality cocoas from around the world, producing a range of single origin chocolate of the highest quality.  Bonnat chocolate is known for its 'rustic edge' and has a character and flavor all of its own, particularly favorable with pure chocolate enthusiasts. In 1903 Jeanne and Leon Mazet opened their first confectioners in Montargis, just outside Paris. They were solely responsible for rediscovering the praline, a grilled and caramelized almond dating back to 1636. The shop, Maison de Montargis became synonymous with this special praline and Mazet himself used its rich history and successful taste to attract the finest of clientele.
 
Today the Mazet family continue to produce this very special praline and the many other successful additions introduced throughout the years.

               Valrhona of France - Valrhona Chocolatier
A French master chocolate producer since 1922,  the vocation of Valrhona has been to create exceptional gourmet chocolate, while respecting the artisan's know-how and fine French taste.  Valrhona was one of the first chocolatiers to describe their chocolate in a similar fashion to wine with the labelling of such creations as grand cru, single origin, single estate and even vintage chocolate. Valrhona is regarded as being amongst the best of the few french chocolate makers today creating their chocolate from bean to bar.
