Romance and Romantic Things To Do
- How
To Say 'I Love You"
- Decide where and how you will
deliver the message. To set up the time and place can be
done through your partner's favorite medium, whether by
phone, email, text message -- whatever. Then plan
a very special date and time for the two of you.
This type day or evening will depend upon your own
personality types;
- Your special meeting place
must be planned accordingly. You know your partner and
their moods, so select a time that your partner will be
upbeat and relaxed, liking an occasional surprise, so
they'll be totally unsuspecting but won't be completely
shocked. Don't select a time that's frustrating and work
related humdrum, but most likely a weekend when one
normally unwinds and is more carefree and responsive;
- Definitely select a romantic
place to pop the big question. A plus would
be a place that is special for both of you, but not
necessarily so. It could be a very romantic and
beautiful spot in a public garden, a fantastic view
somewhere, a favorite place where you go for fun, or an
outdoor activity area, or your old standby -- your
favorite restaurant;
- Do give your partner some
insight -- some very subtle hints as to what is to come,
thus creating anticipation and excitement;
- Set the ambiance for the
meeting at the special place that you've chosen, but
don't make the setting too overwhelming, but rather
simple and focus on what's to come;
- The time has come, and of
course this is the hardest part, but it is important to
stay as calm as possible, because it's normal to be
nervous but this is the love of your life and it should
come as natural to say 'I Love You' as water flows.
- You only have to say those
three words, so stay your normal self, and keep it
simple and expressing your love and feelings for your
partner.
- If you are overly anxious and
feel that the words won't come our right when you're
ready to pop the big question, then write a romantic
short poem that expresses your feelings [or select from
one of our links above] and read it to your love, with
the finale 'I Love You';
- This is an important occasions
in your lives, so be sure to also select flowers that
your partner loves, this just making this occasion more
important to them more, knowing that you know what they
love [besides you];
- Tell your partner what it is
about them that makes you crazy in love with
them....something that you'll both remember forever;
- Then pop the cork on some good
champagne when they answered with that ‘YES' to loving
you!
