the World Exposition in 1889 it was not received well by

The Palais Garnier is not
only a must see but a must attend if you're into the arts at all. Named the Academie
Nationale de Musique and Theatre de l'Opera, was built
in 1875. The name
was changed twice and in 1989 to the Palais
Garnier.

The Louvre is one of the
largest museums in the world, and the most visited in
Paris. Her two most noted works of art are the world's famous Mona

Champs-Elysees is the most visited and prestigious

One of the
most noted landmarks is the Arch of Triumph/Arc de Triomphe, to recognize the military honors,

arrondissement in

The Palais des Tuileries was a royal
palace and gardens. Catherine de Medici planned this new
palace after Henry II died. The palace itself was

Museum is a must see in Paris, housed in what use to be
the old train station along the River Seine, across from
Tuileries gardens. The museum was built for the
